LEONARDO TENAN
Founder & Director
Enjoying a restaurant meal is a joyous experience that has been tainted by a lingering taste of concern. Disposal of single-use items is a growing concern for Canadians. I founded Fork On The Road to bridge the sacred experience of eating and the growing public awareness and respect for our planet.

JASON AINSWORTH
Project Manager
Jason has enjoyed multiple roles for over 25 years and is always on the lookout for a situation that can be improved. He joined FOTR because most restaurateurs are small business owners who deserve a helping hand. "I want to do things that I am categorically proud of - the kind of win-win stuff you love talking about at family parties. My work with FOTR gives me that."

MINU MATHEW
Communication Lead
Minu is a global communication and content leader who joined FOTR to fulfil her sustainability ambitions. In her own words, "it was FOTR's laser-sharp vision to do something very tangible and measurable that drew me."

SHUCHI TUTEJA
Researcher and Environmental Specialist
Shuchi, an enthusiastic environmental professional holds a master's degree in Environmental Science. She joined FOTR to contribute to a sustainable future. In her own words, "I joined FOTR as I was driven by its sustainability vision to help restaurants reduce their plastic footprint and stem the tide of plastic pollution."

NIMI NAIR
Treasurer
Nimi has a financial services background and believes it's time we realize the immense value of our planet and nurture it. She joined FOTR for its targeted approach and intent to educate, empower and provide sustainable packaging solutions to the restaurant industry as it navigates its role in conserving our beloved "Earth".

PERLA JAURJI
Community Development Manager
Perla is an English teacher who became interested in learning more about recycling cannabis packaging and everyday waste management during her earlier experience in the industry. She joined FOTR to directly address the root cause of single-use plastic items wreaking havoc on our planet. A bonus for her is working alongside a passionately diverse team and the restaurant industry which is near and dear to her heart.

JEN LI
Graphic Designer
Jen Li is a graphic designer enhancing the communication initiatives for FOTR's vision. She believes in a healthy relationship with our food without causing necessary waste to our ecosystems.
SOFIYA
Social Media Coordinator
A high school teacher for adults, Sofiya is an environmentalist who volunteers for a variety of eco-focused projects. She was recognized as one of Canada's Top 25 Under 25 Environmentalists in 2018. Having led and participated in many shoreline clean-ups, she has a visceral connection to nature and has seen firsthand the damage that plastic waste can cause. She is excited to help FOTR carry out the important mission of supporting restaurants in reducing waste and restoring the planet's health.
